Beijing Olympics veteran Peter O'Leary took the overall lead of the Star class at the Sail for Gold Regatta at Weymouth yesterday as perfect racing conditions returned to the venue for most of the day, writes James Hall.
Sailing with German Frithjof Kleen, who is standing in for David Burrows as crew, the Irish boat scored a third place followed by fifth and sixth places in the subsequent races.
